unsur halalPemerintah akan mempertimbangkan untuk memasukan unsur halal ke dalam produk yang akan dijual di industri e-commerce bentuk sebuah dukungan pemerintah agar Indonesia menjadi pusat halal dunia.
Dari situs resmi kemenkominfo, Rudiantara “Peluang pasar halal sangat besar karena pertumbuhan ekonomi kita dan meningkatnya pendapatan per kapita membuat permintaan produk halal meningkat”. Dan perlu belajar dari Malaysia terkait pasar produk halal.
“Produk halal serta industri keuangan syariah Malaysia bisa dikatakan lebih maju di bandingkan dengan Indonesia, sehingga kita harus melihat sektor apa saja yang berpeluang masuk ekonomi syariah terutama untuk travel dan logistik,” terangnya.
Dijelaskan juga, “Kita sudah dua tahun membangun eCommerce, Memang dalam roadmap eCommerce tidak merumuskan secara detil produk halal, tapi hal ini bisa menjadi catatan bagi pemerintah untuk memasukan unsur halal di Indonesia secepat mungkin jadi tidak perlu menunggu selama 40 tahun seperti Malaysia dalam mengembangkan produk halal.
Sayangnya sampai saat ini pasar halal lebih di gerakkan oleh negara non muslim. Padahal menurut Ketua Kadin, Rosan P, kesadaran masyarakat Indonesia akan produk halal semakin tinggi. Hal ini juga yang menjadi pendorong utama bagi pemerintah Indonesia untuk menjadikan prioritas utama, karena pasar syariah kita yang dinamis.

Wakil Ketua Kadin Ilham Habibie pun mengamini bahwa Indonesia bisa menjadi produsen dalam mengembangkan produk halal. ”Selain tiga kategori produk halal yaitu pangan, kesehatan dan kecantikan, Indonesia masih memiliki produk tourism dan perbankan yang bisa dikembangkan. Kita berharap produk halal ini tidak hanya bisa dinikmati oleh negara islam tapi bisa masuk ke pasar internasional,” ujarnya
