Mayoritas Pelanggan Usia Muda Bantu Tingkatkan E-commerce di Indonesia

E-commerce di Indonesia sedang mengalami pertumbuhan yang pesat setiap tahunnya. Berdasarkan perkiraan Google, pada tahun 2019 jumlah pelanggan e-commerce akan meningkat sebesar 20% atau bisa saja lebih. Salah satu pengaruh terbesar dalam perkembangan e-commerce di Indonesia adalah pelanggan di usia muda yang aktif dalam menggunakan internet dan sebagian besar menunjukkan suka berbelanja online.
Berdasarkan studi yang dilakukan oleh Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia tentang ‘Kebiasaan Konsumer Indonesia Berbelanja Online’, menjelaskan tentang bagaimana penggunaan internet di Indonesia lebih banyak digunakan oleh pelanggan di usia muda. Hasil menunjukan bahwa pengguna internet terbesar adalah pada grup umur 10 – 24 tahun dan 25 – 34 tahun  dengan presentase lebih dari 75%. Sedangkan, penggunaan internet di grup umur 35 – 44 tahun memiliki presentase 20% lebih rendah.
Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan internet pada pelanggan di usia muda berpengaruh pada belanja online. Telah terbukti bahwa pelanggan e-commerce di Indonesia pada usia antara 18 – 34 tahun memiliki presentase tertinggi. Sebagai pebisnis online ada baiknya Anda memikat pelanggan di usia muda dengan melakukan strategi marketing terkini dan tentunya haruslah menarik.
