Korea Selatan Siap Berinvestasi di Ecommerce Indonesia

Pertengahan 2016, Kepala Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal Franky Sibarani menyatakan, salah satu konglomerasi ternama asal Korea Selatan tengah menjajaki peluang untuk bermitra dengan perusahaan e-commerce Indonesia.  Dengan fokus bisnis marketplace, rencananya investor asal negeri gingseng tersebut akan menanamkan modalnya sebesar US$ 10 juta.

Investasi asing di sektor e-commerce memang sedang digenjot pemerintah.  Hal ini sesuai dengan Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) Nomor 44 tahun 2016 yang membuka kepemilikan perusahaan e-commerce oleh investor asing.  Lebih jauh, ada batasan investasi di e-commerce ini yakni maksimal kepemilikan 49 persen atau dapat juga kepemilikan maksimal 100 persen hanya harus menanam modal dengan nilai di atas Rp 100 ‎miliar.

‎”Pemerintah akan terus mendukung pengembangan sektor e-commerce yang ke depannya akan menjadi salah satu motor utama untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi sektor digital,” ujar Franky.

Ecommerce Enabler dan Marketplace

Angin segar investasi yang lebih terbuka untuk asing di sektor e-commerce ini, disambut baik oleh salah satu pemain e-commerce enabler di Indonesia, 8Commerce.  Menurut Ronny Ritongadi – CEO 8Commerce, dengan semakin banyak nya negara–negara yang menginvestasikan modalnya di Indonesia maka akan semakin banyak pemain baru di bisnis e-commerce.
